Generator exciter carbon brush MAG00275P1 – TMEIC

MAG00275P1 – Generator exciter carbon brush MAG00275P1: carbon brush for the exciter commutator/slip ring. Carbon brushes carry excitation current to the rotating commutator/slip ring. Brushes worn beyond the limit, weak springs or the wrong carbon grade cause heavy sparking, commutator wear, heating and unstable excitation.

Use the same brush code for the whole brush holder set so current is shared evenly.

TOVINA is the TMEIC distributor and service partner in Vietnam. To order the right part, send the code from the nameplate or parts list (with a photo of the nameplate and serial number) so TOVINA engineers can check the manufacturer documents, confirm lead time and quote.

TOVINA provides complete generator overhaul materials (gaskets, seals, varnish, sealants, brushes) and on-site technical support. Contact +84 0917 399 279. See TMEIC equipment.

Installation and maintenance

• Check brush length regularly and replace at the wear limit mark.
• Bed the brush face to the commutator curvature with abrasive paper (grit towards the brush) until contact is even.
• Check the springs; brushes must slide freely in the holder.
• Blow out carbon dust from the exciter enclosure and inspect the commutator surface.

Ordering notes

• Send the part code, model and serial number (nameplate photo) to confirm the exact version.
• Parts for project-built equipment may need import lead time; plan ahead of the maintenance outage.
• TOVINA inspects goods before delivery and supports installation.
