Yes. The LM-550E prints heat-shrink tube from φ2.5 to 6.5 mm; the LM-550A3 and LM-550A3B print heat-shrink tube as well as PVC tube and label tape; the LM-3000PRO handles heat-shrink tube up to φ19 mm. On LM-550 models, use LM-IR50BP ribbon so the text stays sharp after shrinking.
The LM-550E is operated from its own keyboard and suits simple numbering jobs. The LM-550A3 connects to a PC, prints Vietnamese with full diacritics and imports wire lists quickly; the LM-550A3B adds a rechargeable battery for site work. The LM-3000PRO is a desktop machine printing 80 mm/s, built for panel shops that mark thousands of wires a day.
If you only need a few hundred markers once, outsourcing may be enough. If you build panels regularly or have to add and correct wire labels on site, owning a printer keeps you in control of the schedule with no waiting for print jobs.
The text is thermal-transfer printed: ink from the ribbon is melted onto the tube surface, so it does not smear with normal handling inside a panel. Matching the ribbon to the tube material (PVC, heat-shrink or coloured tube) gives the darkest, longest-lasting print.
