LM-IR is a thermal-transfer ink ribbon for MAX wire marker printers. Choosing the ribbon to suit the tube material gives bold, clear and durable print.
LM-IR50B is 110m long for LM-550 printers; LM-IR300B is 50m long for LM-380/LM-390 printers.
When printing on dark tube or labels (red, blue, black…) where black text is hard to read. A white ribbon is 70 m long, shorter than the 110 m black ribbon.
Usually the ribbon does not match the tube material, the print head is dirty, or the print density is set too low. Clean the head with alcohol, check the ribbon code and raise the density; if the same spot stays faint, the head may be worn and need replacing.
