Sizing and accessories

Installation and wiring

• Connect the supply to R/L1, S/L2, T/L3 and the motor to U/T1, V/T2, W/T3 – never apply mains to U, V, W.
• Earth the drive and motor; route signal cables away from power cables to reduce noise.
• Mount vertically with clearance above and below for cooling; sealed panels need a fan.
• After power-off, wait until the capacitors discharge (charge lamp off) before touching terminals.

Basic setup

• Use the keypad Setup Wizard to enter motor data, command source and frequency source step by step.
• Set acceleration/deceleration, frequency limits and motor overload protection from the motor nameplate.
• Back up parameters to the keypad to copy them to a spare drive.

Routine maintenance

• Clean dust from the heat sink and cooling fan; replace noisy or weak fans.
• Re-tighten power terminals after a period of operation; look for signs of overheating.
• Review the trip history to catch overcurrent, overvoltage and overheating early.
