ThreeBond 1121 sealant (200 g) – TMEIC

THREEBOND 1121 – ThreeBond 1121 sealant (200 g): joint sealant for generators, 200 g. ThreeBond (Japan) sealant for joint faces, threads and connections in generators as specified by TMEIC; apply a thin even layer to clean, dry faces before assembly.

Vulcanised rubber gaskets keep generator joints tight, preventing leakage of cooling water, cooling gas and oil and keeping moist dust out of the windings. Aged gaskets (hardened, cracked, permanently compressed) are a common cause of leaks after an overhaul.

TOVINA is the TMEIC distributor and service partner in Vietnam. To order the right part, send the code from the nameplate or parts list (with a photo of the nameplate and serial number) so TOVINA engineers can check the manufacturer documents, confirm lead time and quote.

TOVINA provides complete generator overhaul materials (gaskets, seals, varnish, sealants, brushes) and on-site technical support. Contact +84 0917 399 279. See TMEIC equipment.

Installation and maintenance

• Check the code against the generator drawing / parts list (TMEIC part numbers in the maintenance documents).
• Clean the groove and mating faces, removing old gasket, sealant and rust.
• Seat the gasket in the groove without stretching; use sealant only if the manufacturer specifies it.
• Tighten bolts evenly in a cross pattern to the specified torque.
• Check for leaks during the test run (water, oil or gas pressure).

Ordering notes

• Send the part code, model and serial number (nameplate photo) to confirm the exact version.
• Parts for project-built equipment may need import lead time; plan ahead of the maintenance outage.
• TOVINA inspects goods before delivery and supports installation.
