LM-HC340 half cutter (yellow) – genuine MAX

LM-HC340 – LM-HC340 half cutter (yellow). The half cutter partially cuts tubes and tape after printing so markers stay joined in a strip and snap off by hand. MAX specifies the yellow LM-HC340 for the LM-550E and LM-550 series.

MAX recommends replacing it after about 5,000 cuts; signs of wear are shallow cuts that will not snap, tubes cut through, or the ERROR IN HALF CUT OPERATION message.

Fitting and use

• Turn the power off before replacing the cutter.
• Open the cover and slide the old cutter out of its slot.
• Align the guide of the new cutter with the holder groove and push it fully in; do not touch the blade.
• Close the cover, print a test and adjust the cut depth (TUBE/TAPE lever) if needed.
